On Thursday, May 6th, the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance ("GALA") will be hosting a webinar, “International Perspectives on Key Issues in Agency-Advertiser Agreements.” The webinar will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (London time).
In this webinar, Matt Vittone of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz (United States) will be leading a discussion on the key legal and business issues in contracts between advertising agencies and advertisers. The panel will feature an all-star cast of advertising lawyers from around around the world, including Kelly Harris (Miller Thomson – Canada), David Quezada Bonilla (Arochi & Lindner – Mexico) and me!
The webinar will cover strategies for negotiating terms relating to the parties' liability, COVID-19, the parties’ obligations with respect to legal clearance and compliance with laws, the parties’ responsibility for the performance of third parties, agency authority, media buying, and more.
In addition, the discussion will address special considerations when advertising agencies are providing services globally and will also look at how key issues in agency-advertiser agreements are typically handled and negotiated in different countries.
