I am a Managing Associate in Lewis Silkin’s “Digital, Commerce and Creative” team, specialising in issues across the Sport, Media and Technology sectors.

Sport

I was selected as a Sport Industry Next Gen Leader 2022 and am currently Deputy Head of the Lewis Silkin Sports Group. Key areas of specialism include sponsorship deals (having advised on a number of deals for domestic club, tournament and Premier League shirt sponsorship); sports broadcast and media deals; football regulatory advice; player image rights; fan tokens; merchandising; ticketing; ambush marketing; and the commercialisation of player data.

Media & Entertainment

I advise major publishers, streaming networks, podcast creators, agencies, talent, game developers and digital platforms on a variety of commercial issues that impact the media and entertainment sector. This includes talent deals; brand partnerships; content licensing and media rights; sponsored content; video game development; broadcast and ODPS content regulation; and gambling regulation. I hold the BIIAB Level 2 Award For Licensing Practitioners (Gambling).

Commercial & Technology

I specialise in emerging technologies, particularly generative AI and those relating to Web 3.0 (such as NFTs, blockchain and crypto). I regularly negotiate and draft a range of complex commercial contracts, including contracts in respect of IP licensing; SaaS and other software services; media buying; outsourcing; franchising & distribution; sponsorship; advertising and marketing; and creative services agreements.
